Come into Agreement

Agreement is powerful. No one stands alone without high risk of being overpowered by natural or supernatural enemies. Ecclesiastes reminds us, Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. (Ecc 4:12 ESV). The second of that cord is our alliance with one another. The third and vital cord is our allegiance to God. Remember what happened at Pentecost? Can you imagine the power we would wield if we were to come into one mind and one accord?

The phrase “Agree with God” in Job implies acquaint, reconcile, learn, surrender, submit, and obey. In essence, it means entering into covenant with Him, to allow Him to rule and reign in your life, to become one with the Truth of His being. Your life is empowered when the ultimate power is aligned within you. And when we align with others also aligned with God, an unstoppable force is created. One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the Lord your God who fights for you, just as he promised you. Joshua 23:10 but the words in red spoke by Jesus expands this in Matthew 18:19-20 with “if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

Alone, as Christians, God fights for us. Together, as Christians, we represent the Power of Heaven when we abide in Him and are aligned in His purpose. In this modern world as the end times near, it is imperative we stand as never before, and that we stand in agreement with the Word of God. The enemy shall not prevail and evil shall not overcome our land. It is time we stand in agreement in one mind and one accord as happened on the day of Pentecost and witness the power of the Holy Spirit descending on us, emboldening us with His power and His purpose to save a darkened world.

Lord, we agree with Your power and Your purpose, submitting ourselves to the assignments to which You have commissioned us. May Your supremacy rule our hearts and our nation in the name of Jesus, Amen.
