Plain and simple, Woke Culture is demonic. Impersonating morality, it flies in the face of scriptural doctrines and must be recognized as such. While the church is indeed mandated to fight against racism and injustice, Woke Leftists use these as evil weapons against good while cloaking them as the opposite, swapping the gospel for secular feelings.
God teaches forgiveness of past sins as we are transformed into new creations by His divine grace and Holy Spirit. God sees us not as who we were, but as who He called us to be, filtered through the lens of Christ. He offers redemption and renewal. If you commit offence against the Woke, there is no forgiveness or reconciliation—only cancellation—you are utterly destroyed. God forgets your past, the Woke digs it up to punish you and offers no mercy in their execution of judgement and punishment, prosecuting even assumed sins.
Who does this sound like? Revelation 12:9-10 calls Satan the deceiver of the whole world and the accuser of the brethren. And Jesus says in John 8:44 the devil speaks out of his own character and is a liar. He disguises himself as good while committing evil. Lucifer desires to sit in the judgement throne of the entire world, declaring all virtue as wicked. Consider his accusation against Job.
To paraphrase the old Dial commercial, aren’t you glad we serve a loving, forgiving God? Don’t you wish everybody did? Unlike Woke Culture, God’s culture is to redeem, renew, resurrect, and transform. He is the giver of life, not the bringer of death. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.(1 John 4:1)
Lord, we thank You for discernment of spirits, knowing good from evil, and for Your promise of eternal life. We thank You for forgiveness and redemption. May we be not Woke in our culture, but Awakened in Yours. In Jesus’s holy name, Amen.
